Hi Karina, thanks much for the awesome V4 update. I really like the user friendly additions you've added beyond the great bending of the figure.

I have a problem with the Capsces morphs though unfortunately. Copy morphs from Morphia seems to break any character of face morph that uses eye translation or scaling dials. Without Capsces applied there are face morphs dials to increase eye size, widen the distance between the eyes, etc. After copying morphs these dials get greyed out (minus sign) and premade faces from Capsces or other third party vendors don't adjust the eyes when applied. The same thing happens to the teeth and tongue. If a character injection usually moves them forward, they don't get moved if Capsces morphs have been added.

You do have some eye fix morphs that still work, and manual eye adjustment (though not eye width). But it's very tedious and prone to error. At this point it's questionable whether to use the Capsces morphs or not.

OK, just letting you know. Maybe there is a fix. The package is still impressive and a great gift to the community. I rely on Capsces though so it is a bit disappointing. Carry on!

Thanks for getting back Karina. It's good to know that the morphs CAN work. I definitely did the morph copy using hidden parameters, as that's generally recommended. I might have used Daz injection thumbnails as well. I'm at work now but I'll look at it when I get home. I'll report back either way. Wish me luck!

Karina, unfortunately I had no luck trying it the way you mentioned. I believe it behaved a bit differently but in the end the eyes fail to translate with any premade characters who's eye position has been adjusted. Morphs++ did retain the ability to translate the eyes and eyeballs simultaneously using the usual dials but not Morphia. I'll play with it again when I have more time on the weekend to see whether it's feasible to adjust the eyes manually in certain cases. Still an awesome upgrade though. I've probably got 95% of the functionality but the eyes don't lie. I'll either have to solve it or ditch Morphia altogether. Thanks

OK, been chasing the wrong rabbit all the time and wrote a much too complicated version of the fix.

Luckily it wasn't all wasted time because I thereby have a script for future use to spawn new morphs channels and valueParms in SASHA, and also have nearly finished a script which repairs the "Morph Trap" after injections.

However, for the Morhia users out there, here's the fix to resurrect the dependencies of the head children. All face injections will work now.

Just place the attached file somewhere in your runtime (I'd suggest to put it in the "0 - SASHA-16 SETUP" folder to have it handy during setup.
You can also use this fix on SASHA characters you already made - the time of injection doesn't matter because the fix only resurrects the missing dependencies.
This whole issue will be fixed for good in SR1.

Let me know if that did the trick.

I have some good news and bad news unfortunately. The good news is that the eyes now move into position as expected. All the relevant CDI morphs I tested seem to work. Here are 3 of the included Morphia faces.



The bad news is that the upper teeth, tongue, and inner mouth are not adjusting. This can be seen in the line only render below. Also there are some vertices around the eyes that are stuck in place. I believe they are part of the eyelashes. You can see a shadow on the left eyes of the rendered image. When I make the eyelashes transparent it goes away. I used CDI's Face Depth morph for testing



More good news: As is the figure is very usable. I can probably translate the upper teeth if necessary and I rarely distort the face enough for the shadow to be seen.

More bad news: It still isn't working properly and I'd probably run into an issue when I least expect it.

I probably overlooked more hidden dependencies, esp. morphs as it looks like.

So I'll have to check the whole bloody figure for more of these "surprises". Give me a few days to fix this too: All the morphs should be already there; it's just the dependencies missing.

But I never used the Morphia thing before, so all this is "terra incognita" to me.
Without your input I'd be completely lost.
