I am bringing this up here as while it is an octane issue, I know it's related to SASHA-16. I have taken the same texture in both V4 standards and in SASHA-16 and gotten issues where the eyes are either obscured by a blackness, or weird circles obscuring most of the eye color. Here's an extreme example. I am working with folks in octane to help track it down too, but any insights on your end would be appreciated, I want to keep using SASHA-16, at least until Ero finishes Project E. The face on the left is standard V4, the one on the right is SASHA-16.

Well, I got a response on Octane's forum. This is what I was told:

"A quick is to change Octane Settings / Kernel / Ray Epsilon / settings to ZERO if it doesn't interfere with other parts of your image render.

There is something about the SASHA EyeIrisConvexity setting that changes it..

This is the same settings change to fix the 'tears' abnormality in some model renders.."

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I didn't know because I never used Octane.
However I've discovered the source of the problem:

In SASHA's head the two parameters EyesIrisBulge and EyesIrisConvexity are set to 0,2 and 1,8 respectively. This is a leftover from figure development and shouldn't be there.

To fix this simply run the attached "XX Non-Zero Iris FIX.pz2".

I am HAPPY to report this fixed it! Yay!!! Just wish it would fix up the other issue I have with Octane and a character I created with Sasha....for some reason, her eyes end up being black voids. O.O Don't think that's your issue though, looks more like an issue with octane itself.

Well, the OTHER Octane/Sasha issue I found is a two parter, and has a VERY strange cause. If you change the subdivision levels on her to anything BUT 0, the eyes and teeth vanish. Going to post this one to the Octane forums, see if they can see what happens.

I tried turning off the subdivide separately, and yup, that seemed to fix it! Thanks!

I asked the Octane guys and they are pretty sure figures need to be all the same subdivision level. Maybe a "tools" pose that removes that and turns it back on, in case anyone needs it?
