I wasn't aware of your Liverpool aversion, nor am I into soccer at all.
And in the end, Liverpool is quite a footwalk away from Dynamo Kiev.


Talking of P11:

I'm using it the first time these last days. Didn't have much time yet to fully check all the extra functionality, but from what I've already discovered - wow!

So many new features I always wanted, available in Poser right now without the need of endless exporting/importing to dozens of external programs.

Just some of the greatest innovations (for me) as far as I found out in a few days:

• Morph Brush:
  Now I can *finally* ROTATE parts of the mesh, instead of just pushing vertices linearly!
  I can also limit the area the brush influences not only by groups, but also by materials!
• Grouping Tool:
  I can select a prop or body part, mark polygons, and then *delete* them! A kitbasher's dream come true!
• Direct Manipulation Gizmo:
  Improved visibility, and *finally* you can go close in to work with it, and not have to zoom out one metre for it becoming responsive. Invaluable for detail work!
• Selecting body parts in the preview port (w. mouse):
  Didn't test it in a populated scene yet, but it looks as if now the body part *nearest* to the cqamera gets selected, and not something that's miles behind it! I just tried to pose a hand and fingers, and I actually could pose the digit I was aiming at (index), and not the pinky or the collar behind it...
• Symmetry:
  Glad they made separate menus for "Pose" symmetry and "Rig" symmetry. The PP2014 solution of being nagged with "Do you want to copy the joint zone's setup also" was a real nuissance and error prone because once you hit the wong button your rig is borked and the scene ready for a reload because of "This option is not undoable"
• Hierarchy Window:
  Finally! We can select multiple items in the hierarchy list at once and delete, toggle visibility, or reparent them ALL IN ONE GO! That was so sorely missed hitherto!

Well maybe you should reconsider?
Remember that SASHA was made ALL in Poser (actually obsolete PP2014!).
Every single morph, all rigging and weight mapping, THE LOT!

And while you are still busy firing up third party programs, importing/exporting meshes, fixing errors from the import/export process, I have long since finished my morph and moved on.
KNOW YOUR POSER TOOLS!

The only thing that you can't do yet in Poser is actual mesh building, and UV mapping.
So look at SASHA again, check the special SASHA morphs, and keep in mind that it was ALL made in Poser. No exception.
No ZBrush, no Blender, and above all no DAZ!


But you're right - I haven't any idea either why Poser takes eternity and a day to delete a figure. In DAZ it takes a second.

No, didn't see that yet. Do you have a link?

(B.t.w, I already have a morph which will turn SASHA into an adolescent boy. I only hold it back until after SR1 and it's changes. I also have concerns about "feeding the CP outlaws", but that's another story.
