not sure wht you mean with "sample size" but I guess it's the file size.

I meant that, out of all the characters I've created that I intend to move to 2019 I've only done a few. A "sample." Problems might arise, but so far I haven't seen any.

I've been happy so far, but the sample size is small. I wasn't sure if perhaps it might work in Poser 11 but not in Poser 9, for example.

I've read the CR2 info, thanks. What I've done for a few characters so far without problems (poser 11) that would appear to be easier:
      Load old character.
Save to pose library, check the boxes Morph Channels and Body transformation, then Single Frame.
      Save to materials library
Load a copy of Sasha (2019) that has all of the morph injections I'm likely to use (note that this makes a "heavy" character, but I'm blessed with a fast machine that has no problems with them).
      Inject the pose
      Inject the materials
Move hair and any clothing/props from the old character to the new.
      Delete old character
      Save the new character.

Question: Are there likely to be some characters that won't work with this relatively simple method?

I forgot to check Front-Back, and that took 4 clicks compared to the 2 for the Up-Down, both in the Shoulder. As far as I can tell no other joint movement is a problem.

Perfect, and thanks for the quick reply! This one took two clicks, presumably 102% and the spike is gone completely.

Certainly no problem with posting this as a tutorial - I don't think I ever would have found this on my own.

      Poser 11 Pro

Most morphs started as purchased custom V4 morphs, then spun-dial altered either a little or a lot, particularly with CDI. Materials may have been supplied with the character, but also often altered, or may have been adapted from another character.

I have about 80 characters built that way (so far). The number of custom morphs is less than 10, but each alteration is different.

I do have PFE, so a tutorial using it for this would be most welcome!
