Yes, that's exactly what I meant:
Select the figure, hit the "+" sign in the Character library, give it a descriptive name, and that's all.

B.t.w, that's what the library folder MY OWN PRESETS was meant for:
Here you can save your personalized/individualized base figures for further use, without cluttering up the SETUP folder, or having to run the setup each and every time again and again:
Just save and after that load one of your personal presets, and there you go!

And those who already have SASHA will just need to copy the SR1 files over their current SASHA installation and they're also set.

Well here's a point for you!
Actually I also have a weird feeling each time I have to use and then manipulate M4's "dick" ( that's also the reason why there won't ever be a "KarinaWillie".
And yes, when I work with clothed figures, I often do hide the genitals.
I do it sometimes in SASHA to avoid pokethrough, and it's mandatory to completely remove the Willie to avoid a "trousers with a dick" (which can happen if you just set the genital invisible, and then toggle the M4's figure visibility off and on again - tadaa! "Tricky Dick" *1 is back!

That's in V4's mesh already; it's the lower end of the ulna bone. Look at your own wrists: it's there.;)

I don't think so, because all V4 clothing and hair already are "prefitted" to SASHA because basically SASHA IS V4.

As I understand it:

• what the Prefitter does is to deform the clothing mesh to fit the target figure's different geometry (which isn't necessary in the case of SASHA because it IS the same geometry)
• then it copies the joint zones into the clothing's mesh ( which can be done in non-Pro Poser already with the "350 S-16 Joint Centres" script from my Toolbox, and in PoserPro you alternatively have the "Copy Joint Zones From..." in the Poser menu.
• If you need to copy morphs into the figure, you can use the PoserPro menu "Copy Morphs From...". And indeed you need to have PoserPro for this funtionality. But then, the product description states that it's for PoserPro versions only, so I guess all that Netherworks does here is to call the Poser menu commands as mentioned above.

Well, why not after all?
My personal base figure has so many custom morphs that I don't even dare to count them

The Morph Brush would be THE PRIMARY reason why I wouldn't leave Poser for "greener daztures"
The secondary reason is Python, and tertiary all the hacking you can do in the "open source" Poser files (unlike DAZ with their proprietary DUF format).

Meanwhile, and until I get more feedback from the other BETA testers about the latest problem fixes, the countdown is on hold.

In the interim I'm adding some "Help" and "ReadMe" thumbnails to some library items, so people can access the manuals and messages directly from the library (as already shown in my latest props).

I think this is too cool a feature to not add it!

There's no way to "remove" the KV completely, because it's a body part of SASHA figure.
Same as you can't "remove" an arm or a leg.

The "workaround" I made for @Perpetualrevision is that the figure is still loaded WITH the KV (couldn't avoid this except if I made a full second base figure).
But all the KV dials are invisible, the KV morphs are zeroed, the KV is set to invisible and scaled back to 0.01%, and all KV body parts are named "- not active -"
Also, the weight maps concerning the KV are void.

Thus you have a slightly less heavy figure, RAM-wise.

If this is what you want, save your SASHA as a preset WITHOUT activating the KV.


But once the KV is activated, it's there in all it's glory, and there's no way to "remove" it again.
Well, there is a dial in the BODY actor, group ">BODY SHAPE >Full Body > -Disable Genitalia".
But this will only HIDE the KV because weight maps and morphs can't be removed with the flick of a dial.

So if you want a figure without the KV, you'll have to delete the KV in the Setup Room and then deal with the glitches the Setup Room still has, after all those years.

Yes, in fact there's no "remove" option because Poser can't do this.
Once you have it "activated", it's there.
The only way to "remove" it is to spawn another base figure and NOT activate the KV.
These are limitations of the Poser software.

Yes it is. Just like the other options you have, like installing the "Base" or the "Morphs++"
Just click the "29 KarinaVagina INJ" library icon in SETUP, and you're set.

Sorry I didn't see the appended question there.

Yes it is true in any case.
The only workaround would be to edit the cr2 file and manually remove the KV actor and it's children.

That would be in the first section where the geometries are declared, then in the second section with the actual data, dials, morphs etc., and finally in the figure section where you would have to remove the respective "addChild ..." and "weld..." commands.

I can't guarantee though that some weight maps remaining in the hip and some dependencies might get wonky.
Best to load your manually edited cr2 in Poser and resave it to the library, hoping that Poser will clear out some leftovers by itself. (sometimes Poser really is that smart...)

That's correct. I originally made this (partial) "S4 Essential Morphs" injection for myself because I didn't need all the S4 morphs except of those in the package.
I'll add a help file to the final release which will explain this.

So I hope we now have the largest problems fixed, and all requests for additions fulfilled.

Yet, yesterday I accidentally found a huge problem problem which I didn't expect!

While still hunting after @operaguy's "imploding hip" issue and possible other unspotted weaknesses, I loaded SASHA in PP2012.
All went well that far until I activated the KV, and KAZOOM! All the groups in the BODY were gone!
The morphs were now in the "Other" group, unorganized.

After some fiddling I found out that P9/PP2012 (probably unvoluntarily) has a "feature" which I actually miss in PP2014:
It can remove groups with a simple pz2 injection!
You simply have to write a pz2 file like this:

As you can see there are no groups defined, and P9/PP2012 deletes all groups which were there before.

Now, because the new injection files for the morphs create a new group "--> NOTIFICATION: xxx installed...", but omit redeclaring the already existing groups, P9/PP2012 thinks "Oh! No groups except this one!" and deletes the existing groups and only creates the one single new group...

For comparison:
P10/PP2014 appends new groups to already existing groups, and this is how the "Notification" feature works.

Now, I could of course declare all the groups in the injection file again to make them P9 compatible.
But imagine I change only one group in a later update: I would have to edit all injection files with the new groups.
That alone would be a bitch to maintain!


To make matters even worse:

P9/PP2012 not only deletes all groups not specified in an injection.
It also deletes ALL the "parmNode" lines declared in the groups if you don't redeclare them in the injection.

Thus, using the "395 Collapse Groups" in P9/PP2012 is the safest method to remove all your morph dials from all groups in all body parts...:P



So I made a new folder in the SETUP folder specifically for P9/PP2012.
I will contain a "repair groupings" tool to at least restore the groups in the BODY actor, and an icon that will display a warning to best DELETE the "395 Collapse Groups" from Karina's Toolbox.

I'm still trying to streamline and improve this a bit.
Oh, did I already say that I hate such last minute surprises?
